After the speaker we had last week in our assembly, it made me thing about what we are doing to the wildlife. He mentioned the florida panther becoming extinct because of roads that cut off connection between the rest of the continent. So i decided to make a propaganda piece to try and protest to help save the florida panther.

This is the second piece i made this week. The first one was a Hanukkah card i made for the holidays. This piece i made in the style of a contest on worth1000.com However, instead of following the guidelines for the contest, i wanted to do it my own way. I didn't want to use a celebrity so i used a fellow classmate Safe. I put a mini version of him on his lap. I warped his feet to make it look they are dangling. I also used perspective e to make it look more real and i also added a shadow to wee he was sitting.

This week in class we had to do a propaganda piece. I chose to make a piece into a school rule. At Shorecrest, you are not aloud to have tattoos, but if you do, you must have it covered up. So i used a old piece of my class mate Dylan, and made him black and white, an out cast. Along with the rest of the class walking away. The i put some expressions and a catch line i came up with, Personal expression prevents depression. Which in fact i think does. If people cant express your self, infact they will become depressed.

This week in class we could do what ever we wanted. So i took it upon my self to learn something new. I found a tutorial on PSD tuts about the camera raw filter in photoshop. Unfortunately, I dont have the plug in, so i had to go into adobe bridge and use the program from there. I took a picture of my fathers car and played around in camera raw for a class period until i figured it out. Then i played with all the adjustments, there are so many! After I experimented with the adjustments, and got them how i wanted it to look, I put this image back in Photoshop and used HDR on it. I only mildly affected in HDR so it still looks real but also so it looks slightly edited.

This is a piece i made in the style of Zadith Sarazeeya. I took a picture of a fellow class mate Dylan and used him in my piece. I am not completely finished but i almost am. I took him and added the tattoos to his arms and neck. I also put the cigarette in to make him look hard. The tattoos took a while to integrate but i finally got them and i think they look pretty good.  I may add a few more depending on how much time i have.

This is my second piece for this quarter. We had to do a propaganda piece for something we support. I support that you should have the right to have a weapon if you want for protection. It even states it in the second amendment, the right to bear arms. So my piece is supporting that. I have a group of people with all kinds of guns, the second amendment as a overlay, and uncle sam. I then used a soft eraser to make the people come through.

This is a piece i just finished for a project in class. Our project was to make a propaganda piece using our name. My last name, Luper, means wolf. Wolfs are being hunted now legally. So in my piece the hunter is being hunted. The wolf killed the man that was trying to kill him and is now approaching him. I had a hard time making the man look like he fell in the snow, but i finally got it with the help of Mr. Runge.

This is the piece i made for the metamorphosis piece. At first i was gonna do two separate pieces, but then Mr. Runge, my teacher gave me a idea to combined them. I made the elephant at first for a pro-folio piece. The had to come up with a way to make it metamorphosis. My teacher said for me to make the elephant hiding from circus because of they way they treat them. So the Elephant is colorful like a circus. He is trying to hide from the people that abuse him; therefore, he is behind a close line.

This is my pro folio piece i am currently working on. I found the idea on a old contest on worth 1000.
They took animals and put patterns on then to make them circus like. The animals that were used are usually in circuses and have circus themes, so its like a pun. I decided to do a elephant, i am not done yet. I need to make the edges batter and fix it up. I need to darken the edges so it looks like the elephant
 is actually painted.

This piece i did in the style of Stanislav Odyagailo, for our artist review piece. I chose to write my second review on him and do this piece in his style. He is different than any other surreal artist i've seen because of his unique style, use of nature, and the simplicity of his art. This piece I did in his style was a kind of re-mix to one of his. The meaning is the same, but its illustrated different. I found a skydive plane and selected it out then put it in the sky. Then i took a diver and made him diving into the sky. In his original piece, he had multiple divers jumping off the wings of the plane, I made hime diving out.

This is my finished piece that i bloged about last week. I got the idea from a contest on worth 1000 called evil animals. So I decided to make a piece similar with twist to it. I did a piece resembling Men In Black but instead of men, I used mice. I used the suits of the men from Men in Black and put mice faces on them along as hands. Then i added the background and put a filter on it, i also added the UFO with the light coming from it. The mice in the letter I, I also added. Everything in the piece is animated besides the mice them selves.

Elements of Art
In this piece there are many lines, both hard and soft. The light line from the ufo acts as a burier. Also the mice in front of the maze. This piece also includes lots of shapes. The text box for the title and the spaceship, and its light its casting. There is a combination of warm and cool colors. Most o fhte piece consists of warm colors besides the UFO. There is lots of space in the center, so the piece isn't to squished and packed together. The piece is tied together by value, the different shades of light and dark color adds detention to the piece and ties it together. The light background with the darker maze makes the focus of the piece lower down. Especially on the mice. There is some texture as well. the background has a filter on it making it animated with the rest of the piece besides the mice. THis is because the focus is on the mice, so the background is animated to make the mice pop.

This week in class we have a profiling piece due. I chose to do a contest on worth 1000. The contest was evil animals. I'm doing a piece similar to the men in black movie poster. Instead I am doing it with hamsters. I am almost done, I just have to put a title and make it look like a poster. I will post the picture later when it is complete

This week in class we had to make a second pro folio piece. I saw a similar pice to this online and it gave me the idea. I got the original background piece off wikki commons and it was color with trucks and a biker on the dirt road. I used the clone stamp toll along with content aware to remove them. Then I got a picture of a man and took the shape of him and made it transparent. Also I made the person color and transparent.

This piece is our first actual art piece in thus class. During the last week or so, we have been doing research on surrealism and artists. I made this piece in the style of a artist I found and really liked. The picture of the person is me and i used filter to make it black and white. I made the ballons color to make them pop and give it some contrast. The artist that made his original piece in this style won many awards. The piece is simplistic but it gets the point across.

This surrealistic piece is by artist Eugene Soloview. This piece is a very dramatic piece. There is a man standing on a structure above the clouds, possibly in space. This piece makes you think what the meaning could possibly be. The options are endless. Personally; I think the artist is trying to say he is above everyone else or he is watching over people. It's a figure of power.

This cool piece is by Erik Jahansson. Personnly it is one of my favorite. There are no filters or overlays making it look bad or evil. there is a potentially a good meaning. It could be making new paths in his life or career. The natural seen makes a calming but affective piece.

This is a very weird piece my surreal artist, Wojciech Toast. I can not really put a hand on this one. It is a very dark animated piece. Most-likely; the meaning is bad or evil. The head on the plate seems to be a lot larger then it really is.

This is a simple piece by Tommy Ingberg. The piece being black and white makes it more suttle. The artist might be floating away from something or he is not one hundred percent there. He is floating away some were.

This is one of the coolest most unusual pieces by Sipo Liimatainen. It appears to be a modern version or concept of our, or another solar system. It is something that i have never seen before. It is modern objects tied in with natural elements.

Surreal artist George Gire calls this piece Infinite Improbability Drive. I chose this piece because it was very interesting and portrays many aspects of surrealism. There are so many things going on in this piece that gives it a very surrealistic look. There is a giant floating structure right off the shore with multiple actions going on at once. The description is a hitchhikers guide to the galaxy; the tunnel in the center can represent the long passageway to it.

This is a piece by a surreal artist in Finland named Sipo Liimatainen. This is a very cool piece. Its hard for me to put together exactly what it is but it drew my attention and definitely falls into the category of surrealism. It kind of looks like a weird, modern version of the solar system. The cool colors really blend the piece together well and make it a very nice piece.

This is a surrealistic piece by Swedish artist Tommy Ingberg.  I chose this piece because it is simple and it relates to the style of art that I have created in the past.  The balloons that replace his head makes the peace surrealistic by giving it a different meaning. It could mean that his head isn't really here, like he is dreaming or out of it.  It could also mean that he is slowly floating away from something.  It's a interesting piece and it's effective because it makes you think.

This is a very weird peace by German artist Martin Grohs. There are lots of abstract and actions going on here. So much that its hard to comprehend what exactly the artist is trying put out. It looks like there are three levels in the piece, the sky the ocean and another layer under the ocean. The figure seems to be confused maybe with what his life will bring him or what path he will chose. Also the random objects in the background could be symbolic to him or his future and past.

This interesting piece is by German artist Dorothea Beer. It’s a fairly simple piece but it works. The piece is over the ocean so she could have possible grew up on the water. On the staircase coming out of the there is a man walking up, but the staircase ends. The center seems to be a statue and the side are transparent mirrors. All the elements in the piece are old fashioned except the airplan on the far right side. The bicycle floating on water is very weird as well.
