This year I am in the honors computer graphics class. This week we started off with two assignments. Our first was to read the Manifesto Of Surrealism. The second project was to watch, Un chien Andalou, a surrealistic movie by Louis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí. We also have to fill out a movie spreadsheet. Most of the projects this year are surrealistic and we will start our first one soon after we finish reading about it.

This is a piece I made in class this week. We didn't really have instruction on what to do, so I found a idea on PSd Tuts. The one I saw was a pig coming out of a egg, so i made a hedgehog coming out of a egg. Its funny because they are mammals and don't come out of eggs.

My super hero is the Navy Blue Nose, his purpose is to suck up all the bad smelling things in the world, Illustrated in this piece, he is in a alley way sucking up the "stink" from the smelly dumpster. I also added the graffiti which is my name to fill in the empty space.

This week during class we had to finish up our pun piece then we discussed them in class. We have to start on a new project, make our own super hero. It has to never been created before and have a story behind it relating to us.  I have been brain storming and can't seem to come up with a good idea. I will keep thinking and hope to come up with one soon.

This is a piece I made for a class project, illustrate a pun. In my piece i have a double pun. First one is, Frog Parking Only, All Other Will Be TOAD. The second pun is the fact that it's a TOAD truck. I added all the signs and the little frogs all over. I also put in the toad truck and changed the color and put on the writing. I also created the sign and changed the color of the car.

This is a piece I made following a tutorial, Create a basic vexel image. I had a fellow classmate take a picture of me standing on a table. Then I used the pen tool, quick selection tool and color range to select  parts of my body. Then i used the bucket tool to fill them in. I used overlays and the pen tool to add all the features to me. Then i made the stripes and used a gradient overlay and stroke. And for the vexles, i used preset gradient overlay.
